White Nationalism Epidemic, the SJW Hot Button Topic of the Month
One of the founders of the American Asatru movement, Steven McNallen, and his church, the Asatru Folk Assembly, has come under fire recently over their outgoing messages on white pride. Just recently the AFA had their Facebook page taken down after many fellow Asatru worshipper filed complaints over the content and messages posted upon the group’s page. In a squirrel nutshell, various Facebook users claimed to be offended over several of the AFA’s posts. These controversial posts were centered on AFA members taking pride in their white heritage, their families who are white skinned, as several posted statistics on the dwindling white populations.
I would like to state upfront that I was never subscribed to the Asatru Folk Assembly’s Facebook page, so I was unable to read the posts which were considered, I guess, hate speech and too offensive for others to handle. However, I have watched many of Stephen McNallen’s YouTube videos and I have read his book on the topic of Asatru. The YouTube videos are still available online and Stephen’s book can still be purchased on Amazon.
Asatru: A Native European Spirituality
My take on the AFA’s Facebook page deletion is mixed. On one hand Asatru, also known as Odinism, has been hijacked over the years by hardcore white supremacist groups, biker gangs, prison groups, as well as the horrifying historical rebranding the Nazis attempted during World War 2. These things all cast a shadow upon groups like the Asatru Folk Assembly who have found spiritually and kinship within the ways of our ancestors. Trust me when I say I don’t believe all things from the past, which are taught in Reconstructionist religions such as Asatru, belong in the 21st century. I do however see nothing offensive about a group supporting the ways of their ancestors, culture, and the race/ethnicity of their people.
Stephen McNallen’s book on Asatru, nor the videos he has produced, has made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Yes, he seems concerned about the smaller population of whites in the recent years. Yes, he clearly seems to be preaching that white people need to get their act together and start producing more units (In the 1970s they referred to it as “makin’ bacon”). And finally, NO, I have not seen any evidence with my two eyes that would make me believe the AFA is some type of new Klu Klux Klan hate group. Can someone send me evidence of Stephen McNallen’s or the AFA’s hardcore racist posts which every Heathen group seems to be going ape shit over? I would really like to see the material.
Here is what I don’t understand about Stephen McNallen’s messages on the “global diminishing white population”. In the videos that I’ve watched he really doesn’t cover the fact that other ethnicities historically have had larger populations. Stephen also doesn’t mention that WHITE PEOPLE DID IT TO THEMSELVES when it comes to the “dwindling population”. He seems to come across as if “they” are “beating us” through breeding.
If we just talk about the white population of the Americas, since the 1960’s, in my opinion, white people have been digging ourselves into a hole in which we can’t climb out. We continually create one hurdle after another which has corrupted our path spiritually. I’m referring to things like free love with no consequences, women’s focus on careers over family, the almost worship of money, the grasp for power in politics, on obsession with personal beauty, narcissism, and most recently computers, the internet, cellphones, and everyone trying become a YouTube star.
I credit Stephen McNallen for trying to get the message out there now, however where was his generation of white Americans, and the generations of white Americans before him, when white politicians and white corporations creating the mess? I will be forty five this year, so I’m a Gen X, whom the previous generations wrote off as do nothings and blamed us for the world’s problems. Gen Xers proved them wrong, now everyone is bitching about the Millennials generation. Americans have perfected the “kick the can” mentality when it comes to blaming others for our mistakes.
I am not without sin. I never married, partially because I had bad parents who divorced twice and created an extremely bad example on relations. Secondly, my parents were poor blue collar people. I didn’t want to end up like them so I focused my life on getting a carrier, money, and a comfortable life style. I think others of my generation and location in the United States did the same.
I really didn’t think about relationships and family until well into my thirties. At that point the only single women I seem to find are career focused workaholics and bitter women who have three kids from three different dads. Such women got burned and are untrusting. Again I would like to state that us white people did it to ourselves.
Finally, I would like to address those super awesome online Heathen groups who seem to have waited in the shadows and pounced on the Asatru Folk Assembly. In case you didn’t recognize sarcasm that was what I was trying to get across. The people who got the AFA page band seem to me like just another form of the useless Social Justice Warrior (SJW) movement sweeping the globe. These people really need to get a life of their own and worry about their path. In America, specially, where there is supposed to be freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
I would recommend subscribing to the YouTube channel Red Ice Radio if you are interested in news coverage of the SJW movement and other similar controversial subjects. They cover things like race specific nationalism from around the world wide.
That is my two cents on the Asatru Folk Assembly Facebook page controversy. Please send me links to their controversial stuff. I really am interested in seeing the white supremacy messages they posted. Also I’m available to help boost the white population numbers. Ladies, look me up if you are ready to make bacon. 🙂
